EHRENSVÄRD MUSEUM OF SUOMENLINNA
The museum, located by the central courtyard of the fortress in the house, which was the official residence of the fortress’s commandants, exhibits the fortress during the Swedish era. The first occupant of the building was Augustin Ehrensvärd (1710-1772), the founder of the Suomenlinna fortress. The museum’s collection includes Gustavian furniture, weapons, model ships and oil paintings from the 18th century.

SUOMENLINNA MUSEUM + SUOMENLINNA EXPERIENCE
Entrance adults 5€ (norm. 7€)
This museum, located in the Suomenlinna Centre, shows the eventful history of the island fortress from the 18th century to the present day. It also describes the restauration of the World Heritage Site, Suomenlinna. The 25-minute-long wide-screen presentation about the construction of the Sea Fortress, its colorful past and the people who made it all happen is available in nine languages.

REGULAR GUIDED TOURS IN SUOMENLINNA

The best way to explore the fortress is to join a guided walking tour! The tours depart every day from June to August, during May and September the tours are organized on Saturdays and Sundays. Meeting point: Suomenlinna Centre.
The duration of the tour is approximately one hour.
