JT-LINE CRUISE TO SUOMENLINNA SEA FORTRESS

EHRENSVÄRD MUSEUM OF SUOMENLINNA

The museum, located by the central courtyard of the fortress in the house, which was the official residence of the fortress’s commandants, exhibits the fortress during the Swedish era. The first occupant of the building was Augustin Ehrensvärd (1710-1772), the founder of the Suomenlinna fortress. The museum’s collection includes Gustavian furniture, weapons, model ships and oil paintings from the 18th century.

HELSINKI CITY MUSEUM

This recently re-opened museum at the centre of Helsinki’s historic quarters by the Senate Square is where the stories of the city and its people come to life. The museum consists of five old buildings with a modern extension between them, creating a unique museum complex.

HELSINKI TRAM MUSEUM

Streetcars or trams have been clattering around the streets of Helsinki since 1891. The first tram was pulled by a horse and there were no stops – you could get onboard anywhere along the route! Take a seat in one of the old trams in the museum and experience a piece of the history of Helsinki. You can watch old films and stamp a tram ticket as it was done in the old days!

LINNANMÄKI AMUSEMENT PARK

Linnanmäki is Finland’s oldest and most popular amusement park. Entrance to the amusement park and a ride on the Panorama Tower is free of charge. There are over 40 rides and a dozen different restaurants and cafés in the amusement park, which is beautifully located on a hill just north of the center of Helsinki. Those who want the trill of trying all the rides can buy wristbands. Single tickets are available for those who just want to experience one ride like the wooden rollercoaster.
